My Home Office Setup — The Full Tour

A few people have asked me to share what my home setup looks like — and after Alana Mediavilla asked yesterday, I decided to use it as an opportunity to record another video for the #30DaysOfLinkedInVideoChallenge.

The video covers the full setup: the Canon camera I use for video content, the Logitech Brio for calls, the movable whiteboard that has become a surprisingly essential part of my workflow, and how everything fits together in day-to-day practice.

Fair warning: the slightly sideways glance near the end of the video was entirely due to the camera balancing precariously on the table beside me. I was genuinely convinced it was going to fall at any moment! 😅

If you are thinking about upgrading your home setup, the biggest single improvement I made was moving away from the built-in laptop webcam to a proper camera. The difference on video calls is immediately noticeable — both in how you appear and, interestingly, in how you feel going into a call. When you look good on screen, you show up differently.

Give it a go. #AlwaysLearning #VirtualWork #MSFTAdvocate
